Comment:

Neuchâtel; 11/2008 - pours a hazy dark reddish colour under a firm pinkish head; nice lacing; fair and quite natural aroma of black cherries with a touch of sourness in the nose; sweet (but not in excess), a very discrete sourness is not enough to bring a satisfying balance; moderately dry, the long and respectable aftertaste of cherry does not fully succeed in hiding the green beer backbone below - far better than expected (4/6/5/2/11)

Nyon; 9/2009; bottled, courtesy of yespr - clear golden-red in colour and with a little persistent foam; aroma of marzipan and cherry marmalade; very sweet and a bit sticky , moderate malt backbone, long sweetish aftertaste of artificial cherries with a light citric touch
